We’re excited to share the newest addition to the Community Sensory Garden — a Wind Phone. This special space was created to offer visitors a quiet place to feel connected to loved ones who have passed, and stands as a tribute to the memory of Tammy Cope. Tammy is the late sister of our Financial Clerk of 30+ years, Amy Cope. Amy brought the idea of incorporating a Wind Phone into our garden to CEO Chris Page after the passing of her beloved sister.
“When it was brought to my attention that Threshold would be building and installing the Wind Phone in our very own Sensory Garden, I was extremely grateful! AND in memory of my Sister? I am still overjoyed and just speechless! What an honor!” Amy said. “The Wind Phone offers a space not necessarily for grieving alone, but for connection and emotional release . It serves as an outlet for sharing updates, memories, or goodbyes that death interrupted. I am not sure how to say thank you enough. The support means more than anything. I am proud to be a part of such a great team.”
We hope that this new addition brings comfort, reflection, and healing to all who visit.
