At Threshold Residential Services, the health and safety of the people we support is our top priority. Our Nursing Department provides expert, compassionate care every day.
We have a strong medical team that includes four full-time and one part-time Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants. All care is led by our Director of Nursing, an experienced Registered Nurse (ADN). The Director of Nursing oversees every part of the health and wellness of the individuals we serve
Quality Care You Can Trust
Our nursing program goes above and beyond. We offer a 1:12 nurse-to-client ratio—meaning for every 12 clients, there is a licensed medical professional available. This level of personalized care is unmatched by any other agency in Northeast Ohio.
What Our Nurses Do
Our nurses provide hands-on care and vital support, including:
- Managing individual medical caseloads
- Taking clients to medical appointments
- Being available 24/7 for emergencies and on-call support
- Making regular wellness visits
- Helping create and monitor client nutrition plans
- Training staff in CPR and safe medication administration so that every team member is prepared and certified
