Young Volunteers Turn Lemons into Dollars

This spring our Sensory Garden blossomed into an engaging, interactive experience not only for our clients, but our entire community. The generous support of key partners like Bush Heating, Institutional Prescription Services, Arlington Heritage Group and others help bring the unique space to life.

The goal of the Sensory Garden is to inspire the community and be a space that can be enjoyed by all. Caring volunteers like these young friends from Bush Heating keep the garden growing. They recently spent their Saturday making lemonade and lemon snow cones to cool off customers on a hot summer day, and donated their proceeds to us. Those hard earned dollars will keep the garden in bloom and continue to allow it to be a special place for our clients and our community to visit.

If you would like to donate to the Sensory Garden, please use the “donate” button at the top of the page and let us know how you would like to extend your support – volunteer hours, in-kind and monetary donations are greatly appreciated!
